Submissions

We accept Articles (10,000+ words), Essays (up to 10,000 words), and Comments (under 3,000 words). The Journal’s print version collecting all accepted works is published twice a year in the spring and fall, by which time accepted Essays and Articles are also online. To optimize timeliness, Comments are published online as soon as they undergo proper editing. Only Articles undergo peer review.

Submissions are accepted year-round. They need not focus exclusively on blockchain law & policy but at minimum must include significant coverage.

How to Submit

Submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word format via either (1) Scholastica, or (2) email to snam@codex.stanford.edu. Please include a CV/resume.

Citations must conform to the most recent edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation.

We will conduct expedited reviews for works with publication offers from other journals. An author submitting an expedited review request should specify the offer deadline(s) from the other journal(s).
